Perfect organised trip with fantastic driver Indika I’m not someone who often leaves reviews, but this time I feel it is absolutely deserved. Traveling around Sri Lanka with this driver company turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our trip. Our driver Indika played a huge part in that. Right from the start, everything felt well-organized and easy. What impressed us most was the company's attentiveness. After just one day, they suggested switching to a bigger car because they noticed we had quite a bit of luggage with us while traveling with our baby. It made a big difference in comfort and we hadn’t even thought to ask. Indika is so much more than a driver. He’s incredibly involved in making your trip better with offering suggestions for places to eat, things to do and always thinking ahead when it comes to planning the route. But without overloading us. Thanks to him, our journey felt so relaxed. He made sure we avoided typical tourist traps and was very honest in his advice, which we really valued. Everything was taken care of. Whether it was arranging excursions or finding a tuk-tuk for harder-to-reach spots, he handled it all through reliable contacts, so we never had to worry about a thing. On a personal level, he is calm, sensitive, understandig and extremely friendly, especially in the way he interacted with our baby. Every morning patiently waiting for us with a big smile. Amazing experience with Prasad travelling Sri Lanka as a family Our driver, Prasad, was absolutely exceptional. We had pieced together a 2 week tour of Sri Lanka travelling with our 16 month old and decided to book a private driver to get us around. We are so glad we did. Prasad made such a difference to our experience. He not only drove us around, but was also key to ensuring we got the most out of each place, recommending experiences and sensible structuring to our itinerary, being mindful of our toddler and making sure we were always comfortable and safe as a family. He was kind and very caring, developing a strong bond with our son, who reached out for a cuddle every time he saw him, wanted to be carried by him often and accepted him as a second “Dada” as we travelled around. Prasad’s knowledge of each part of the country was excellent and his suggestions would always improve on any plan we currently had. There were several experiences we didn’t even know about that ended up being some of the stand out ones from the trip. However, he would always let us lead and prioritised getting us the experience we wanted, being flexible and very accommodating. His driving was also great and very smooth, and he was very patient with our son, being willing to stop whenever we needed. He also provided interesting facts about places we visited and things we could see whilst driving along, and recommended additional stops along the way that fit in with our journey, e.g. visiting the tea factory, which we didn’t know about previously. Above all, Prasad is just a genuinely lovely person and went above and beyond to make our experience as great as possible (for example, he rocked our son to sleep in the pram so we could both enjoy eating the delicious village food when he wanted a nap; he climbed up Pidurangala Rock with us to ensure we could safely navigate the slightly tricky bit at the end with our son in the carrier; he recommended a good safari, which was different to the one we had previously planned, as it was more suitable for toddlers and we saw loads of elephants, which our son loved; he recommended great food spots, all of which were delicious and worked well logistically, meaning we didn’t have the pressure of choosing places to eat all the time). We will really miss Prasad and are very grateful to him for making our holiday the epic adventure that it was. Thanks Prasad!

Highly recommend We had the most amazing experience with our private driver (Sampath) during our 12-day trip around Sri Lanka. From the moment we were picked up to our final airport drop-off, everything was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free! Sampath was professional, punctual (always on time to the second!)and incredibly knowledgeable about his country. He helped us plan our route, suggested great places to stop on route,including the most incredible beaches and museums,national gardens and many other places we hadn’t even considered, and made sure we got to see the best of each destination..from cultural sites,temples, beautiful viewpoints and local restaurants we would never have found on our own. Not to mention helping us navigate busy markets,train stations and supermarkets! The car was always clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable, which made the long drives between places like Kandy, Ella, and Sigiriya enjoyable. We always felt safe on the road, and his driving was calm and careful throughout the trip. What really stood out was how friendly and accommodating he was. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, whether it was adjusting the schedule, stopping for photos, even taking photos..or helping us with tickets and recommendations. He often helped us book tickets, (to the best attractions!)deal with our accommodation arrivals and made sure our flights were running on time.
