Amazing and friendly service on our Honeymoon! We found the company online through strong reviews and it did not disappoint! Very quick to respond on WhatsApp when booking. Upon meeting Ramidu at the airport, he was super friendly, on time, and very helpful with planning and booking our excursions. He made sure we weren’t over-paying when booking activities. He’s a brilliant driver (comfortable and spacious car!) which put our minds at ease on some of the bumpy and windy roads! Ramidu drove a lot of miles from starting in Colombo, all the way through to Sigirya, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala and then down to the coast - nothing was ever too much for him! Family in good hands Recommended by another family who came in 2023, the whole process has been very easy, smooth and simple.Regarding the ride itself, the van was very comfy, full of space to rest in-between.Our driver, Ranjith, has taken good care of our family, driving very carefully in all occasions. An unforgettable Sri Lanka experience! Mahesh our private driver in Sri Lanka really helped to make our trip unforgettable! From the moment he met us at the airport, he was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. A really thoughtful gesture was him providing us two pre-paid SIM cards at the airport, saving us the hassle of having to sort it ourselves. It was a small touch but made a big difference to the start of our trip given we hadn’t confirmed our hotels! (Sri Lanka has so much to do, we didn’t want to commit to a route until we landed…)Mahesh went with our spontaneous plan and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort - the vehicle was always clean and spacious and Mahesh drove very safely. He shared fascinating historical insights about every place we visited, bringing the culture and landmarks to life.Despite our last-minute plan changes, Mahesh remained flexible and accommodating. He guided us to Galle, Tangalle, Yala and then back to Tangalle (because we loved it so much there!) sharing invaluable recommendations and helpful dos and donts for each location.Mahesh went above and beyond, finding us local sugar cane, fresh coconuts, tamarind toffee to ensure we experienced authentic local flavours. Using his connections, he sourced items like cinnamon, curry poweders and other Sri Lanken delicacies we couldn’t find on our own. Ease & comfort with a smile 🙂 We had an amazing experience using Sri Lankan Private Drivers - Chamod, our driver for 10 days, was amazing! He was so friendly, kind and considerate. Chamod made our trip so easy and enjoyable taking us to Galle, Mirissa, Yala, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Sigiriya and Colombo. The car was comfortable and Chamod drove safely everywhere we went. He was flexible and able to accommodate any changes in our itinerary, even picking up our bags from our accommodation and meeting us when we were out exploring. Chamod made our experience even better by helping us secure the best seats on the local train from Ella to Nuwara Eliya so we could look out at the view! He really looked out for us and we are so appreciative. Finally, a special touch at the end of our trip was a frame and photograph he took of us on the Ella train… what a thoughtful gift.Thanks so much to Chamod and Sri Lankan Private Drivers (who communicated clearly) - it made our first time in Sri Lanka so great! An amazing week with a great private driver in Sri Lanka We booked a driver for 7 days for our trip round Sri Lanka and we are so glad we chose this company. Our driver, Yappy was fantastic. We didn’t really have a set itinerary so asked Yappy for a lot of suggestions. He was very knowledgeable and flexible, adjusting to our changing plans. His car was comfortable and his driving was very safe. He had good conversation but also respected when we wanted quiet time (early morning starts!). 1 million stars for Gihan! There aren’t enough stars for our driver, Gihan, if we could we would give him 1 million!We spent 18 days with Gihan and he was on time every day, taking us to early morning sunrises and on the occasions we stayed out late he was around to pick us up. He gave us suggestions of places to stop along the route and how to make the most of our itinerary, bought us local fruit, snacks and drinks to try on the longer drives that we otherwise wouldn’t have known to try. He explained when we asked so much about Sri Lankan culture and the history and Buddhism in the country, and we learnt so much from him, we went swimming in local waterfalls, to some amazing restaurants and trips all on the back of his recommendations but with no pressure if we didn’t fancy it.Before we met Gihan, Sri Lankan Private Drivers were brilliant with communication and the day before the tour started they sent us Gihan’s number but he had already messaged us to say hi and that he would be collecting us the next morning. If you are visiting Sri Lanka which is a beautiful, special place with amazing people don’t hesitate to get a driver, especially if you get Gihan, we can’t recommend him enough or possibly write down everything he did for us to make this trip so amazing but hopefully this explains a lot.
