Mittelmäßig Wir haben uns einen Driver für einen selbstgeplanten Streckenabschnitt unserer Reise gebucht. Wir wussten natürlich, dass der Driver kein Tourguide ist. Trotzdem hätten wir uns während der Fahrt mehr Informationen über das Land gewünscht. Bei der Abholung zu Beginn unserer Reise mussten wir 1,5 Stunden auf den Fahrer warten und wurden leider vergessen.

What we got was an incredible local guide, photographer, trip planner, and genuine friend who made our entire Sri Lanka experience what it was. From night one, when a flight change left us without a room in Sigiriya and he found us an accommodation to stay within minutes, Mahesh consistently went above and beyond in ways we never expected. He barely touched a map app the entire trip, navigating the whole country from memory for a total of 10 days while pointing out animal sightings, sharing history and culture, and knowing exactly where to stop along the way. A tree full of dozens of birds. Roadside king coconuts and fresh local fruit he picked up just because he thought we’d enjoy them. A restaurant recommendation ready at every location were spot on every single time. His photography and videography skills gave us photos of our honeymoon we’ll treasure forever. He also gave us space to ensure our honeymoon still felt intimate. His calm, warm presence turned the unknown of a foreign country into something that felt immediately welcoming. Excellent Private Driver in Sri Lanka We were a group of three visiting Sri Lanka for the first time, and Ishara was the very first person we met upon landing. From the moment he greeted us with a warm smile at the airport, we felt safe and well taken care of. Ishara proved to be an outstanding driver throughout our trip. He was incredibly patient and calm, even when we bombarded him with endless questions — including the silly ones! He answered every single one with a smile and genuine enthusiasm. His friendly and fun personality made the long drives enjoyable as he happily introduced us to Sri Lankan culture, traditions, and hidden gems along the way. Our visit coincided with the Sinhalese New Year, a time when public transport becomes chaotic and unreliable. Having Ishara as our private driver was a lifesaver — it saved us so much time and hassle, allowing us to fully enjoy our holiday without any stress. Great service, highly recommend The whole communication was smooth and easy, with Shiyan from the company as well as with our driver Prasanna (in the car and via messenger). For the whole period of our 3,5 weeks on tour we felt safe with our trustworthy driver. All in all, we highly recommend the service, especially our driver Prasanna, who made a difference to make this a very enjoyable holiday. Prasanna always arrived punctually - even on certain days where we had to start early in the morning at 3:30 or 5 am. He kept the car always clean. As soon as we asked for it, he changed the temperature of the AC to satisfy our needs. Furthermore, he was a really good driver, never rushing through difficult situations. After a short period of time, he knew already where we would like to stop along the way to enjoy the view and take pictures. Additionally, he suggested different points of interest along our route, where we could stop. This was a good addition to our itinerary, even if it was just a nice stop to stretch our legs. Moreover, Prasanna was very flexible whenever we spontaneously added a stop along the route or even changed our minds for the next destination (for example according to the weather). Whenever we did not find suitable information about a certain place or tour, he was acquiring the relevant information about opening hours, departure time of tours or certain entry costs. In addition, Prasanna was very helpful at different places as he was talking to the people in Sinhala or translated for us. Once we had an issue with our guesthouse, Prasanna talked as long as necessary to the manager to solve the problem. He was a big help! We will definitely use the driver service again when we are coming back to Sri Lanka.

He had great recommendations for excursions and attractions, helping us plan exciting and varied days. The car was always clean, comfortable, and perfect for longer drives. Ravi drove very safely and carefully, was always punctual, and extremely reliable. One special highlight was when he picked us up at 4:30 AM to take us to Sigiriya Lion Rock – outstanding service! Beyond that, it was also a wonderful personal experience. Getting to know Ravi and learning more about life in Sri Lanka through him made our trip even more special and authentic.
