Absolutely. We specialize in tailor-made trips. If your group wants more beach days, specific hotel recommendations, or alternative activities, just let us know and we will adjust the itinerary.
Our vehicles are chosen based on your group size plus luggage volume. During the Ella train ride (Day 6), you carry only a small daypack on the train while your driver safely transports your main luggage by road to meet you at the destination.
Yes! This tour is very family-friendly. The wildlife safaris, train rides, and beach days are always a huge hit with kids, and we can easily adjust the hiking pace for younger or older travelers in your group.
It’s strongly recommended, especially in peak season. Many travelers book seats early for the Nanu Oya to Ella train. If tickets are limited, you can still do the route by car and stop at viewpoints along the way.
Step back in time as your group explores the ancient heart of Sri Lanka.
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome. Your driver meets you at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in the Cultural Triangle to rest, acclimatize, and enjoy your first group dinner.
Day 2: Rock Fortresses. Challenge yourselves with a morning climb up Sigiriya Lion Rock for sweeping jungle views. In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset hike up neighboring Pidurangala Rock for the best photo ops of Sigiriya itself.
Day 3: Caves & Cuisine. Explore the incredible ancient murals and statues at Dambulla Cave Temple. Later, bond as a group during a hands-on village cooking class, where you'll learn to prepare authentic Sri Lankan rice and curries together.
Escape to the cool, misty mountains where lush tea estates stretch as far as the eye can see.
Day 4: The Sacred City. Drive into the mountains to Kandy. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and experience the vibrant energy of a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance in the evening.
Day 5: Tea Country. Wind through emerald hills on your way to Nuwara Eliya. Tour a working Ceylon tea plantation, learn the art of tea plucking, and enjoy a fresh cup of the world's best tea.
Day 6: The Famous Train Ride. Board the scenic mountain train from Nanu Oya to Ella. Your driver takes care of your luggage and meets you at the station so your group can just lean out the doors, take photos, and soak in one of the world's most beautiful train journeys unburdened.
Swap the cool mountains for the rugged wilderness of the deep south.
Day 7: Ella's Best Trails. Wake up early for an easy, rewarding hike up Little Adam's Peak for panoramic views of the Ella Gap. Follow it up with a visit to the iconic architectural marvel, the Nine Arches Bridge.
Day 8: Open-Jeep Safari. Transfer down to the dry zone. Jump into private 4x4 open jeeps for an unforgettable afternoon safari in either Udawalawe National Park (famous for guaranteed sightings of large elephant herds) or Yala National Park (the premier destination for wild leopards). Our drivers coordinate with the best local trackers to ensure your group gets prime viewing spots.
Wind down your group travel experience with sun, sand, and colonial history.
Day 9: Tropical Mirissa. Head to the spectacular southern coast. Check into your hotel in Mirissa and spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, catching waves, or sipping fresh king coconuts.
Day 10: Colonial Charm. Take a short day trip to explore the cobblestone streets, boutique cafes, and historic ramparts of the Galle Dutch Fort, a beautifully preserved UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 11: Mangroves & Farewell. Enjoy a serene Madu River cruise, navigating through dense mangrove tunnels and visiting local cinnamon peelers. Spend your final evening having a beachfront farewell dinner to celebrate an incredible journey.
Enjoy a final Sri Lankan breakfast before your driver ensures a smooth, timely transfer via the Southern Expressway back to the airport for your flight home.
