About the Sea Turtle Farm in Mahamodara

The hatchery was established to protect endangered sea turtle species that nest along Sri Lanka’s southern beaches. Due to natural predators and human activities, many turtle eggs do not survive in the wild.

The hatchery works by:

							Ananda Driver would highly recommend Ananda made the first half of our trip incredibly smooth and stress-free. 							Amazing tour experience with Sri Lanka Private driver! We had a great tour experience with Sri Lanka Private driver services. Special thanks to our friend Murshid!
